Molalla High School Forecasting Night  for the 2016-17 school year is on Tuesday, February 9 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the M.H.S. Commons.   Information about 2016-2017 curriculum will be presented, incoming freshmen will have the opportunity to turn in their completed forecasting sheets (or they can turn them in to their middle school counselor on or before February 25), and there will be time for questions.  All incoming freshman, grades 9, 10, and 11, and their parents are encouraged to attend. Current grade 9, 10, and 11 students will be working on completing their forecasting sheets during homeroom this week.

Power Hour
Power Hour, tutoring in the areas of math, reading, and writing will be offered in the library every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on school days.  Students do not need to sign up to attend.  Parents do need to arrange for transportation home if their child attends Power Hour.

Molalla High School currently stands in 3rd place out of 16 teams for the 2015-16 Oregonian Cup, just behind Scappoose and Sisters High Schools.

Schools earn points based on their participation and finish in OSAA State Championships and for Top 10 finishes in the OSAA Academic All-State Program, sponsored by the Dairy Farmers of Oregon. A sportsmanship component, whereby schools are awarded points each season for having no ejections, is included as well. The points are updated and released at the end of Fall and Winter seasons and totaled at the end of the year. The school earning the highest points in each classification receives a commemorative trophy from The Oregonian and the OSAA.

Keep up the good work Molalla HIgh School student athletes!!
